I have 5 that stand out above the rest:
True Grit
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Logan Lucky
Into the Spiderverse
BlackKlansman

At best are either of them really movie of the decade material?
Sweetheart- 7/10
Sort of a modern day Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Just watched Joker. Not really sure how I should rate it. Great performance by Phoenix, which I would put up there with Christian Bale in The Fighter.
Like that movie, this was dark even by DC standards.
Haven't followed any news to see if this is a complete stand alone or if Phoenix will be back as Joker.
Good movie, but not sure it's one I'll watch over and over, like say the Dark Knight series.
It’s considered a one-off movie which originally going to be under a DC Black or DC Elseworlds label. Meant to be an experimental film and nothing else. To drive the point home of it not being connected to more movies or sequels they had an early draft where Bruce was killed along with his parents! Spot on with the rewatchability though, not something you’d put on to lighten the mood around the Holidays.
