According to Rotowire, Del Rio just said today "that he believes Carr (back) will return to action Sunday versus the Chargers, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports."

I'm the first overall team right now. I have no depth at WR right now. Like you said, Carr is out, but he won't be out for long and even with carr out his performance this week netted him 22 points.

Other RB's Carlos Hyde, Melvin Ingram, Jamaal Charles.

I personally wouldn't make that trade.
not two weeks off, but he was injured early in the washington game I believe.

Marlon Mack or Samaje Perine week 6. I'm leaning towards Perine because I like his matchup and he was a College stud. His NFL debut so far has been lackluster.

What do you guys and gals think?

Dodged a bullet. He was trying to entice me with Zeke Elliot instead of Gordon and I shot it down (I did take the trade for Gordon/Crabs though) Elliot just got his 6 game suspension tacked back on.

Mack. NFL production is best predictor of NFL production.

Fair enough, but it's not like Mack has been some stud. His best game, last week, is against the same team Perine will face this coming week...

Right, so a crapshoot. But you have a guy with production.

Perine. Kelley is doubtful and Perine has emerged as the top rusher, anyway. He should get double the touches that Mack gets as Gore's backup.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Yeah, this is exactly why it's even a debate in the first place and why I've been leaning perine. He may not be a guy I want starting every week, but now that he's the starter, and facing a terrible SF squad... It might just be too much to pass on. If Perine is ever going to break out, this is the best chance he's going to get this year most likely.

I haven't watched any Colts games, but it sure looks like they have a specific plan to give Mack 10 carries in each game. He's not going to average 9 yards per carry every week, where Perine has seen a higher number of carries and his counterpart is injured.

    Just my opinion, of course.

You guys have me intrigued about something that otherwise would have slipped by. Still leaning Mack on account of best player on the field theory, but I like MO's logic.

but will they resist the urge to give chris thompson more touches? especially if perine doesn't get it going early?

Yeah, that's the fear. You basically have to trust that this is "put up or shut-up" time for Perine, and believe that he's going to break out.

I'm think I'm gonna take that gamble.

    Ok, I got another;

    Marcus Mariota or Deshaun Watson?

I'm leaning Watson, only because I don't want to walk away from the table with a hot hand, and he's playing Cleveland. But at some point, the other shoe has to drop...
