Yeah, the Edwards thing has me thinking, but I don't really have anyone to replace him with...

Who do I start? Mcnabb vs. Steelers or Warner at Washington. Thanks.

My problem is the only 2 people I have to replace him with play in the early game. I'm playing it safe, starting Welker vs. Miami in case Edwards doesn't play.

I'd say Warner. Washington isn't exactly stellar against the pass, and I can see Arizona throwing it a lot.

McNabb. He'll get his one way or another. I think Warner will have a week more like week 1 than week 2 against Washington on the road.

Edwards is active and starting for Cleveland.

Anyone who benched Ronnie Brown this week is so sad. Me included.

So there is a guy in my league who has the following roster:

As you will see, he is hurting at QB. Bulger just got benched and Kitna is hurt and may be benched for the rest of the season, giving him only JT O'Sullivan. Since I have Warner and Cutler, as you can see below, I would like to propose a trade with him.

So, I'd like input on possible trades to propose and what you think of the following proposal:

    I give
    Kurt Warner
    Derrick Ward
    Ricky Williams

    I get
    Marshawn Lynch
    JT O'Sullivan
    Amani Toomer

FYI: I have the following waiver request in; Andre Hall for Chester Taylor

This would allow me to keep Gore, Lynch, and Marshall and trade Cutler and Boldin in the offseason to move up in the draft. I would love to have something like this go through.

If this is a keeper league, I'd make that trade in a heart beat if I were you. Lynch is young and is a fantasy stud. It's worth if for just him if you ask me plus you get a goo back up QB.

I'd also reconsider trading Cutler and Bolden.

Cutler is going to be a stud QB for many years to come and Bolden will be with a new team by the beggining of next year. I just don't see how AZ can pay both him and Fitz.

if he trades you lynch in a keeper league he's not very bright, but if you can rook him, more power to ya. . .

and i agree with toad-- cutler is simply too good to not keep him-- with all those weapons, he's going to be a fantasy machine for years to come. . . no way i'd keep an inconsistent and injury-prone RB on a no-talent offense over cutler!
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

    Thanks for the input guys.

On Cutler, I hate keeping QBs because I think value can be found late or in FAs/Waiver. 2 years ago I got Romo and Cutler off of the wire, last year I drafted Roethlisberger in round 12. I got Cutler in round 7 this year and Warner in round 10. I feel that if I have solid RBs and receivers every week, it's worth it to have a non-stud QB. I never draft a QB before round 7, and keeping a guy is like drafting him in one of the first 3 rounds.

I think I could get awesome stuff by trading Cutler away, guaranteeing I have some high draft picks (we do a regular draft, so I picked last in each round this year after winning the league) and get more guys for the future.

I AGREE with the dog and the toad on everything studb.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
