Tom Lady is my QB. So I'm on the fence. I don't want to go all in on the Pats, but I need a,big game.

    Meh, too late now anyway

My two QBs are philip rivers and jameis winston. Winston is playing at home against the saints and rivers is on the road against the panthers.

Chargers playing an Early Game traveling from the west coast.

I am leaning towards winston against a crappy saints defense in Tampa.

4 leagues. 3 playoffs. Dogfish, I think you know which league I didn't make it in.

First playoff game was this weekend in a money league. I sat Green Bay for Indianapolis strictly for the Brock Osweiler factor.

    Indy got 4:44
    Green Bay got 17.94

    I lost 158.00 to 149.49

My other money league, I came in second place in the standings (11-3) with the most points by far. The guy that came in first knows NOTHING about football. He finished 12-2 and may win the whole thing.

Moral of the story: Don't think. FEEEEEL.

Oh with that said, semi-final game. Drew Brees @ Arizona or Marcus Mariota @ Kansas City? I put Mariota in now but I don't know if I'll stick with it. Might as well ride with what brought me to the dance. Decisions!!

Here's a weird scenario. I'm in my job's money league and made it to the finals. I'm going against a guy who knows nothing about football, much less any sport. He just filtered stats and guessed during the draft and went by projection. He made 4 transactions/moves the entire season. The guy he beat in the playoffs made 57.

    Now do I start:

    Emmanuel Sanders or Rishard Matthews
    Tyler Eifert or Martellus Bennett
    Denver or New England

I'm going with the yellows but I don't want to overthink it because my opponent doesn't think about it at all.

Who are they playing against? Scoring?
Without knowing those I cannot give you an accurate assesment.

My shots in the dark are:
    Sanders
    Eifert
    Denver
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Sanders @ KC, Matthews @ Jacksonville
Eifert @ Houston, Bennett home vs the Jets (this one is very debatable)
Denver @ KC. New England vs the Jets

Sanders- I think the broncos throw a ton and since he didnt get much last week he is going to bitch some and gets some balls thrown his way.
Eifert- He is the redzone king and with houston locking down the wr, I think Eifert will be the main target. Marty (who i have to start) may see some but you guys probably roll through the jets not leaving a lot of passes for him to catch.

Pats D- Its the jets- nuff said

First of the year, thoughts (10-team)?

    QB Philip Rivers
    RB Jordan Howard
    RB Todd Gurley
    WR Antonio Brown
    WR Michael Crabtree
    TE Hunter Henry
    FLEX Christian McCaffrey
    D/ST Patriots D/ST
    K Chris Boswell
    Bench Allen Robinson
    Bench C.J. Anderson
    Bench Tevin Coleman
    Bench Martellus Bennett
    Bench Jonathan Stewart
    Bench Andrew Luck*
    Bench Jeremy Langford
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Your starting WRs are as solid as anyone could ever hope to have. The reason I switched to keeper leagues was that I got Antonio Brown early in his rookie season & wanted to keep him throughout his entire career. So I joined one of your keeper leagues, & guess who was already on the roster? It was literally a dream come true

Both of your starting RBs are on teams that are going to be getting blown out a lot, & will therefore be getting selfed early on in the 2nd half of a good chunk of their games. That said, Howard is one of my keepers. I suspect that you'll be kicking Langford to the curb before mid-season because the Bears might want their 4th round pick, Tarik Cohen, to supplant him as the #2.

Hopefully you won't get too unlucky with Luck's injury, but just remember what happened when the Colts went through this exact same situation during Manning's last year on their roster. Could it happen to them again with back-to-back franchise QBs? I think you're playing with fire by not having another viable option at QB2 with all the uncertainty involving Luck's recovery.
