Fired up the GameCube for some reason and played Star Wars: Rogue Leader. 10/10. Good space combat sim, and the Battle of Endor level is incredible. One of my favorite all time Star Wars games. They NEED to make one of these for a next gen system. I have Rebel Strike, too but I hate the on foot levels.

If you like PC games at all, you may dig freelancer if you can find a copy of it. It followed suit with many of those Star Wars and Wing Commander games.

I agree, one of the things I was kind of disappointed with was the lack of the original turn based combat in some RPGs. After deciding to jump into this game, and I am a happy camper that's for sure. It's an amazing game, and like you said, it has a very epic feel. Good call Shazam!

    Ghostbusters - 8/10

It's not mind blowing or anything, but going in I had reserved expectations. It didn't disappoint, and the audio actually helped the game along. It is a bit on the shorter side, but it didn't feel like it dragged on. Good grab if you are bored and have nothing else to play.

Yeah, I used to play that, TIE Fighter, and Wing Commander a lot. Colony Wars on the PS1 was pretty good too.

I feel that games of the 90's like Legend of Dragoon, Chrono, Shadow Madness, Phantasy Star, FFVII and IX (I didn't like VIII as much but it was still very good) proves that the system still worked great that has been just fine since the days of the originals- FFs, Phantasy Star, Dragon Warrior and other old series like Hydlide and Super Hydlide.

I also think that Shadow Hearts is one of the most under-appreciated RPG series in the history of gaming.

    Transformers Revenge of the Fallen-7/10

The graphics of the characters was not bad, overall graphics are basic game ones. Gameplay is more of a button masher, simple missions, easy game to beat. Was a fun rental to be O-Prime etc.. and pound on some robots.

    Rented: UFC Undisputed 2009.

Controls are hard to master at first. But...Once you have them down the game is badass! 10/10

    I am with you.

They falsely billed it as a shooter in commercials and it definitely is not. It's an RPG first and clearly shooter second.

If the game had more third person playability like Mass Effect I probably would've liked it more, but the protagonist moved around with the grace of a gorilla in 3rd mode.

I know the game has epic scale and looks excellent, but it just wasn't my thing.

Far Cry 2 I thought was much better, shooter first with RPG elements in it.

Fallout 3 was epic. A shooter it was not, nor was fallout 1 or 2.

But it was advertised as a shooter on TV.
