I went to Italy last year and ate some of the best food on earth, but after a week all I wanted was a really good cheeseburger & fries. I think that's my ultimate comfort food.

Aside from that I really like mexican & italian foods.

My mom's lasagna. She usually makes 2 pans. One to eat that day and one to eat the next day. Something about the cheeses and sausage sitting overnight does something. It always tastes better the next night.

I'd put her lasagna up against ANY Italian place in a heartbeat. I don't even bother ordering lasagna in restaurants because I always walk away disappointed.

Jalopeno Pepper Jack cheese and Triscuits. I now eat so many (a couple of boxes a week, anyways) I may need an intervention. My wife now refuses to support the $10+ a week pepperjack cheez n' crackers monkey I have on my back, so I have to buy them seperate from the real grocery budget

Pistachios are the steak of nuts IMO.

I'm also a professional banana pudding taste tester if anyone needs a opinion.

Thai Food. I could eat it everyday. We have a local place here in High Point NC that has the best Pad Thai and Yellow Curry as well. Medium spice, and I'm in heaven.

I love me some butter biscuits with grape jelly from Hardees. Definitely a breakfast favorite of mine. Two biscuits and a large mello yellow for less than 4 bucks. Filling and cheap.
