Yeah me too, but we're owning without him and some of the ridiculous logic in there needed some not-so-gentle reminders of what we gave up and what we got. Most of the pro-clintonians want Portis from 2003. That man is long gone. The Portis above is the Portis we would be dealing with had we signed him to a long term deal.

I got rid of the thread because it was going nowhere. It was just meant as a jest thread considering what Atwater and Beef were doing earlier. I didn't know that it would become the Soap Opera it did. It had to die.

Why would anyone actually miss Clinton Portis? We got the best CB the league has for Clinton.

I think it's a case of people making the past look better than it really is. It's a natural human trait. Make the past look better than it really was. We do it frequently with, childhood locations, meals and even NFL players.

Aww. Now my thread is less funny!

Well one think is for sure, Clinton sure misses running in zone blocking scheme. He realizes the OL in Wash. just doesn't seem to open up the running lanes like he enjoyed in Denver.

Oh well, although he's beat up playing in Wash., at least he got "PAID",,,,,,,which was he was interested in.
