I'm biased towards Kenwood as well. They just didn't have what I wanted. In Dash GPS in a 1.5 Din package, all maps on a HDD instead of a disc, ability to add external screens for the rear passengers, etc.

Hell, this one scrolls text messages across the face when they come in, has my whole phone book in it, etc. The best feature is all the POIs on the nav also has their phone number. If I tell it to find so and so restaurant all i have to do is hit a button and it calls the restaurant so i can ask if they're open etc.

I don't need all that shit...just a deck that I can hook my iPod up to and one that is bluetooth compatible. This one has a clear little cover deal over a USB port and aux jack as well, on top of the cord that comes out to plug in to the iPod.

Yeah, but i'm a dork when it comes to my gadgets. I have an alarm on order for my Harley that texts my cell phone if the alarm goes off.

    Wow.

Speaking of motorcycles...since I can't afford a Harley and refuse to drive any wanna-be Harley, I've been looking at crotch rockets. I'm thinking as a starter bike I'm going to get a Yamaha R1. It's got a short frame (from nose to tail), shorter than the GSXR and CBR, which is good for me because I'm 5'10" and have a short, stalky frame. I rode one this morning before I went and got my deck and I was really impressed. It's a used 2006 with really low miles for $6,500. Never been raced, never been laid down, etc. It's a flat black color. It's got an aftermarket undertail exhaust and that's it...looked like a D&D Fort Worth pipe, but I'd have to get a closer look. I'm definitely thinking about it.

Don't do it man. You'd be better off on a jap cruiser than a rice rocket. You can't ride those things too long, not comfy at all.

Got a ticket on the last day of school awhile back in highschool. Besides that... nope.

My dad gets them on occasion, but he's built up such a broad network of people he can usually just take it to court and get the cop to not show.

I took a ticket to court for the ticket I got in Feb '07 and the friggin cop didn't show. The ticket was dismissed, but I drove two hours clear the hell up to shit hole Seymour, TX to show up to court and was pissed that in a pile of shit town like that the cop that probably had **** else to do that day didn't even show up...guess he knew the ticket was bogus.

I've never gotten a ticket God bless my fuzz buster. Hell, I still have Montana plates and a Montana drivers license and have lived in Colorado for almost 5 years. Shhhhhhh.

Illinois State Police are much worse....I'm a superintendent for a company that does highway work, and some cowboy-jackass trooper gives me a seat belt ticket right after I pull out of the traffic control on my own damn job! When I tried to explain the situation to officer dildo. he tells me "click it or ticket"
    and hands me a $65 fine......JACKASS!

somebody gave my dad an FOP baseball cap years ago, and that damn thing has gotten him out of about a dozen tickets. . .

This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
