Thread: Battlefield: Bad Company

Anyone seen the comercials for this thing? I'm not sure if that is what it really looks/sounds like, or if that is purely simulated, but the commercials look wild.

There is a demo available to download from Xbox360 Marketplace and someplace on the PS3 online service. I am downloading it now. It is 1.5 gigs.

I can't tell if it is a serious game or if it is supposed to be comedic

I played a few minutes of the Demo. Looks like a regular first person shooter, but with possibly a more creative storyline in between the missions.

I downloaded it as well played it for like 10 minutes then went back my normal game.

The game designers wanted to it be pseudo comical, they were inspired by movies such as Kelly's Heroes (great movie) and 3 Kings. How was the game plan? The wanted the environment to total interactive and give the player the ability to hide and destory everything.

Inspiration and execution are totally different animals. But Kelly's Heroes is one of my all time favorites.

It is a cracking film.............

My lad put me off it for a while, he was watching it every other day, but now that he's not..............
