    I'd have to add:

    Venom -- Black Metal ..... goes without saying....


    Bathory -- Blood, Fire, Death

    Mercyful Fate -- Melissa

    Mercyful Fate -- Don't Break the Oath

    I wouldn't call anything King Diamond did after those 2 albums "Black Metal", but they were definitely Black Metal albums. My preference will always be the 1st wave of black metal.
