    Default On the road again

In about 15 minutes I'll start my 13 hour journey from Glendale, AZ to Abilene, TX. Time to crank up the tunes, suck down a couple of Monster energy drinks, and go through way too much snuff. Talk to you when I get home.

I made it in about 12 1/2 hours despite hitting one of the nastiest storms I've ever been in near Pecos, TX. It was bad. It was bad enough that the truckers had to pull over on the side of the highway...zero visibility, nickel sized hail, 50-80MPH headwinds. I took a video from inside my truck on my digital camera. As soon as I upload it, I'll post the link.

I'm not a big fan of Cope, to be honest. I usually dip Skoal straight long cut, but sometimes I'll change it up with a can of mint. I got two cans for $6 this morning...can't beat that unless you go for the cheap shit like Grizzly.

Is that in a pouch? Not that I'm planning on chewing anytime soon.

SR - DO post your video. Are you sure you were not close to a tornado? They had reports of tornadoes today. I'd like to see that video.

I spotted a few funnel clouds. One of my best friends, Damon Lane, is the chief meteorologist for KTXS here in Abilene and he reported what I told him to the National Weather Service because not much was being reported on the storm at the time, despite how big and rowdy it was, because it was kind of out in the middle of nowheresville.

Not bad at all! I just don't like Cope because of how fine it is. It tastes good and all that, but it gets caught up in my teeth. Even long cut is too fine for me. I used to dip Kodiak wintergreen, but that shit costs more than Skoal and Cope now.
