Since I started riding my Lifecycle and eating a little more healthy, I've lost 12 pounds.
I feel better...duh.

That's awesome. I love that moment when we say to ourselves 'why was I so dumb to forget how good this treats me'. We should make sure to keep it up this time, Canmore!

I'm still running 7 minute miles, still pushing good weight for my size, etc but I'm not getting better and I've put on 5 pounds.
I'm not pleased with myself.
Knowing my weaknesses, seeking self-improvement, I took the first step to getting back on track. To improving my fitness and ensuring I keep that ticker pumping for as long as I can.
I had a great workout today, met some good people. I'm excited.
I should've said in there, I joined a Crossfit gym. A buddy of mine that I served with and have known for more than a decade helped a few of his friends open this gym before he retired from the Corps a few months back.
I was using him as my competition and he suggested I look into Blacksite. So far I'm glad I did. I know some of the folks there already through Mike and I did run a tough mudder with many of them two years ago.
Good times.
I separated my shoulder about 3 weeks ago. Grade 2 AC sprain - tore some ligaments but no surgery required. My upper body is getting a little soft(er than usual) as I haven't been able to do pushups, chest, etc.
Anyone dealt with that before and have any advice on ramping back up? Doc said 6 week recovery.
