God I hate previews when they go on for 20 minutes. I'm good for 2, maybe 3 if they look outstanding. 5 minutes of trailers... TIA

Hey, this Ford v. Ferrari? Looks like it might be ok, right?

The wife anticipates watching Damon and Bale.

    I'm thinking...cars...competition...what could go wrong?

    Depends really.

Creepiness factor can play a role but it all depends on what you are in the mood for. Is it for scares? Being disgusted due to the gore? It varies for me. Take a film like The Strange Color of Your Body's Tears which is kind of a mind**** of a movie but very artistically directed with the visuals with shocking moments. Then you have something like Evil Dead 2 where the gore is all over the place but the humor involved is fantastic. Just depends on what you are looking for in it.

Take A Quiet Place for instance, it got a lot of praise and while i thought it was ok i didnt find it mind blowing. But then look at the Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House and that was far more effective for me both in story writing and execution. It can very from person to person what they are looking for with horror. The movie The Witch is not really horror but it has a creepiness factor as well as being artistically shot which makes it a decent view.
