It started in Austin as essentially Quentin Tarantino and other filmmakers go-to place to host small film festivals and showings and grew into a really well run theater experience. Reserved seats, full menu, and craft beer all backed by a no bullshit/no talking policy. It remains a great mix of indie movies, hollywood blockbusters, and weird little one-off programs. When you visit and if you have time, the Sloans Lake location is the closest to downtown and features the biggest bar:
