PS - where the hell has Dave been?
I havent liked a Terminator movie since 1992.
3 was pretty good. #2 was the best. Genisys was surprisingly very good as well.
Salvation sucked ass.
If Tarantino stays true to his word, we only get one more film from him after this. Got a seven minute standing ovation at Cannes:
I'm a BIG Terminator fan, so this one looks interesting. Hope it's as good as the rest (not including Salvation...)! James Cameron is involved again.

Cameron's involvement as producer gives me hope, but I wish he would stop with the seven Avatar movies he is working on and do a proper Terminator/Aliens sequel. He excelled at R-Rated action movies. This looks to be a direct sequel to T2: Judgment Day so at least they are going to try to cleanup the timeline. And yes, Salvation was awful. I was so excited to have one set in the future war and they just crapped the bed with it.
I think i made it about 30 minutes in before losing interest, i mean compared to the previous movies it was ok but again if we are measuring it against the first 2 it really doesnt hold up to me. When it comes to long standing sequels i like what they have been doing with Stallone with Rocky/Creed and Rambo. Im hoping Cameron can get Terminator back on that level.
