Wish Ron Pearlman had another shot with Hellboy 3, but I get wanting to move it in a new direction. Plus Sheriff Hopper (David Harbour) from Stranger Things looks great as the character:

I love the Perlman versions, he is such an iconic actor but i guess they just couldnt get the 3rd one done.

On Dec 27th, I'll probably go watch "They Shall Not Grow Old" at the movie theater here.

That looks fantastic. WWI is ripe for a revisit, and what Peter Jackson was able to do by cleaning up that footage is amazing:

Just read about that, has Ivan Reitmans son directing so there is some promise there!

The worst thing about the reboot was that it was the worst thing a movie can be, and thats forgettable. Hell, even the Ghostbusters videogame is considered the true "third" movie among fans. Has the entire original cast including Murray and Ramis (RIP):

Is there any way we can fix the grammatical error in the thread title? My OCD goes ballistic when the thread title pops up.

The original Ghostbusters gave me brutal, paralyzing nightmares for the entire summer. Not a joke, really wasn't humorous at the time. I was 10. I would not go into the basement at all, and during the night I was fairly convinced my life was close to ending.

Everyone laughs when I talk about how much I pissed myself in the months to follow this theater experience. Wasn't that scared in the theater really, it just stuck with me and lingered in my dread night thoughts. There was a lot going on in my life at the time that would amplify childhood anxiety. That damned dog was the worst of it, but many of the images I saw spawned offspring and invited my own imagination to ramify the terror.
