    Also new alien film.

    Potential spoilers from the trailers.

David bombs this planet he finds of engineers.

And this is the planet these humans go to years later in the current film.

Theories are abound, of who created the first queen. Was it David?

Neil Blomkamp (District 9, Chappie) was recently kicked off an Alien sequel that would bring back Ripley, Newt, and others from James Camerons film and retcon the other sequels. In response, he is going on to something very interesting called Project Oats which will be a series of experimental Sci-Fi short films. And the first one features Sigourney Weaver and you can watch it now! His movies are very uneven, except District 9 which was a minor miracle, but these look very promising. His visuals are always top-notch:

I hope so! I just finished watching that myself. He has such cool concepts and even that looked like it would be a movie I would love to see a full version of.

I don't know how you feel about the Terminator franchise (which is one of my favorites), but it had that feel.

I've been dying to see this and will check it out this weekend hopefully. Sounds like one of his more lean movies too with a shorter runtime. Looking forward to it!

Sounds about right. I saw that movie with my son in the theater and almost completely forgot about it. It's a perfect rental.
