The "Hans Solo" movie has been set. May 25th, 2018.

The search is apparently over, Star Wars fans! Alden Ehrenreich, who starred in the Coen Brothers’ latest comedy Hail Caesar, will play young Han Solo in Disney’s 2018 Star Wars story. Recent rumors claimed he was the favorite to take over the role made famous by Harrison Ford in the original trilogy, and multiple reports now indicate that Disney made up its mind.

I really like this group, Chris Pine and the bunch, and what JJ Abrams has done with it (I think he's directed or produced them).

No trailer but i so want this sequel to happen. I loved "What We Do in Shadows" so this would be a killer sequel.

New Zealand writer-director Taika Waititi is an extremely busy man. His new, Sam Neill-starring adventure-comedy Hunt for the The Wilderpeople opens June 24, and he is currently prepping the Marvel superhero film, Thor: Ragnarok. So, where does that leave We’re Wolves, the sequel to the much-loved vampire comedy What We Do in the Shadows, which Waititi codirected with Flight of the Conchords member Jemaine Clement?
“We want to do it, and we’re coming up with story ideas,” Waititi, who also starred in Shadows, told EW last week. “The first film took us about seven years to make, and we don’t want to do that again. It’s a lot easier now that we have all the characters, and we know how we want to do it, and we know that we can do it. The first time we were doing it, we had no idea what we were trying to do, really. It’s not like we were inventing the mockumentary genre, but doing it with special effects, and trying to figure that all out, and make it funny, was a really, really long process.”

FX has been showing the Star Trek movies lately. I never really was interested in watching them, or the old school Star Trek (though I did at times), but they're actually pretty good movies. The scene where they were in hyperspace (I think that's what they call it), and that bigger ship comes from behind, was pretty awesome. This will be cool to see in IMAX 3D

This one will be a bit more interesting because if i recall correctly this will eventually merge the storylines with the recent Godzilla movies.

    Beverly Hills Cop 4

Film Producer Jerry Bruckheimer will return to BHC4 to make a new sequel with Eddie Murphy. (Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson produced BHC I & II) (RIP, Don Simpson)

Paramount has set Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to direct its long awaited fourth installment of the Beverly Hills Cop series. The Belgian writer-directors are best known for their edgy drama Black, which won the Discovery Award at the Toronto Film Festival last year. The studio, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Eddie Murphy have been working diligently to get the script and elements right for a film that had been once been slated to be released this year.
