I just have to say, that's one of the ones etched in my memory. He always seemed a bit of a conceited screw up to me though, to be honest, so the ending worked: "That WOULD be his fault, wouldn't it...?" :P

I'm still in shock from the one last week on Sci-Fi where they go to the library and the aliens start taking over the staffs bodies. The story was one thing, but the sidestories hit way too close to home for me.

'Course, now I'm back to season two, work permitting....
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

Yeah, he did need slapping down to size every now & then

The 'Vashta Norada'? Brilliant..............'Who turned out the lights?'

That was close to classic Doctor Who, my lad was nearly red to make a dive behind

Did you see both parts of it?

Where abouts in season 2 are you?

    Hey Denny...

What's it cost to pick up the DVD sets over there across the pond?

On release, they're about $120 for the current ones.

Although Amazon normally knock about 25% off though

And they're one of the few DVD's that I get on release as it's part of James' Christmas box

Makes him easy to buy for, since I know he's happy with that every year

And the fact that I enjoy watching it is merely coincidental

But the best was when he did it to himself.

Yeah, that's the one, and no, I only got to see the second one (twice; ah, cable.... ) There were just a lot of things that really resonated in a keenly felt way. It was a good episode in itself (though I found myself almost screaming at the TV "You're in a library; where do you THINK they are...?") but... well, anyway....

Where abouts in season 2 are you?
Honestly couldn't tell ya till Saturday. Not far, but between mandatory OT, the trip and stuff I haven't been able to keep up very well. I'm hoping all that stuff's behind me and some semblance of "normal" returns to my life soon. By vacation I was really drained, but I couldn't really address that, so I tried to just get away from it, couldn't, and wound up more drained than ever. At some point ya gotta man up though and MAKE your life normal again, whatever that takes. I guess that's another "the universe would die of despair if the Doctor ever gave up for but a moment" type deals. On which note it's time for me to go to work; later, ya'll and take care.

    'Twas indeed

I'm sure you can figure out the first episode from the 2nd Of course, the big question is how & when the Doctor meets River Song.

I know what you mean, the Father in Law got out of hospital last weekend after 4 months, it's nice when normal service can be resumed.............

Have a good day, don't work too hard
