Mine as well give the Cougars offense and ST a shovel because they're digging themselves deeper in a hole. Thank goodness the defense is doing a good job because they'd be sinking fast to a 'run' by the Okies.

Isn't Wazzu where Loyal is playing?
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Yep. He's a receiver; don't know what string he is, though.

I think he said he wasn't a full-ride football, so he might not get any PT yet.

I'm just not a fan of all this spread crap.

Line it up and hit someone.

The spread offense is my least favorite thing about college football.

LS's buddy came one last night and said he'll give us his number! I looked on the roster and I believe LS is from ID and the only player from ID is a LB so I don't know what . I've been following the Cougs since the late 90s because my wife is a Huskie fan. Which they play the Ducks tonight!

He is paying for college mostly on his grades. He is getting a small boost from athletics, but it is still rather small.

I cover high school football here in Missouri where I live and the team I covered ran a wide-open offense, that went from a option-spread like Florida to a wide-open pass game like Texas Tech to a triple-option like Georgia Tech in the last five years. That coach moved on, and now its all about the I and the option...now that's football.

    Wow...Okie State is absolutely dominating.

Good for the Big 12, but maybe...bad for the Big 12 opponents. They look really good today.

Ugh, nothing drives me more nuts than when they line up without having a play, fake the snap, then look over to the sideline for the play call...I hate that shit.

If I was a defensive coordinator in college right now, I would design a system that would create a shift every time the offense did that.

P.S. That's how Nebraska stopped Missouri two years ago...

I would agree but WAZZU isn't a top tier of the Pac 10!

    And likewise with Okie State.

Get used to it, more teams are going to it, and spreading into the HS ranks.

A lot of it actually originated in the HS ranks...
