Default How do you start your computer in safe mode

I've never been able to find the opion screen for starting in the safe mode when I've wanted to.

I believe you hit F10 or F12 to go to the options screen when it first loads up.

F8. Reboot and then start tapping F8 until you get the menu with the safe mode startup choices.

In have always wondered why safemode key isnt in the hint part at bootup.

If it is because they are not wanting the normal joe to know about it so they can't mess too much up then why is the hint for bios in there?

Just don't see why they don't display that with the others.

The BIOS is something that is built into your computer itself, into the CMOS. This is the firmware that controls your computers interfaces.

The safe mode is a part of windows, which doesn't start loading until after your POST, which is where it makes it's beep and shows you how much memory you have, your drives, etc.

So, in short, the bios hint, and safe mode have nothing to do with each other.
