Looks like Tony Romo is going to try and qualify for the US Open.
The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback is a great golfer and has tried to qualify for the open USGA event before, and he now plans to give it another shot now that he’s no longer playing football.
Ed Werder, who was recently let go by ESPN, broke the news on Wednesday announcing that Romo will be playing in a qualifying event in Aledo, Texas beginning next Monday.
