Thread: Welcome Lurkers!

Because you and your lurker bretheren make up 90% of all internet message board viewings, I thought that a welcome thread should be dedicated to you.

By no means is this thread soley in existance to try to persuade you to from your lurking ways, but moreso an acknowlegement of your unique existance on Broncosforums.

I hope you are lurking because you enjoy the site, but I absolutely guarentee you would enjoy it by participating in the forum.

It is said that the #1 reason for people lurking and not participating is a lack of trust....or that people will think they are ill informed/ignorant.

First off, Don't worry about spelling/grammer errors, I make them all the time, and people don't think I am a stupid idiot.

And as far as looking like an idiot when your first start posting, you can't do any worse than one of our board members West did he first started here. He created something like 50 threads and 1000 posts in like 3 days...and hardly anyone remembers that anymore.

So once again lurkers, we appreciate your lurking, but it could be much more enjoyable if you joined the forum.

If you download the Google toolbar, you will find that it has a spell check feature. If it were not for this, I'd be one of if not the worst speller on this site.

I know there are a lot of non-football forums where I constantly lurk (read the messages, but never register and post). In many cases, if it is something like a home theater forum or tech forum, I don't register until I need some help and want to post a question.

As Sneakers says, we are a pretty harmless bunch, so don't be afraid to register and post. The more the merrier.

However, if you decide to continue just reading, you are still a part of this community, so welcome and enjoy it.

At last count, there were 171 guests here....
