Default Leaf has signed a free agent contract with the San Diego Chargers.

On April 27th 2008 Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that Brady Leaf has signed a free agent contract with the San Diego Chargers after not being selected in the 2008 NFL Draft.

The Chargers are the same team that drafted Brady's older brother Ryan Leaf with the 2nd overall selection in the 1998 NFL Draft 10 years ago. Leaf is quoted as saying "Whatever happened in the past with my brother is water under the bridge."

"I am going to work as hard as I can to be the best QB possible for the San Diego Chargers and the best way I can do that is by winning a Super Bowl in my career."

"I am in the perfect situation with the Chargers, I feel like I can battle Philip Rivers for the starting job this season." "I only know how to do things one way in life and that's 110%"

I say good luck to the kid. I thought it was a unfair the way Ryan Leaf was treated.

I like how he is going to battle Rivers for his starting Job.
Rivers sucks so it shouldn't be too hard to win the job.
