White background? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
That is the last thing I and probably the majority of members here don't want. Been there done that.
I like it the way it is. The old background is darker and looks more black than blue and make it more difficult to look at. Stay with the way things are now.

- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
I think the background is nice how it is.
Any darker and it would look a little bit too dull.

If you went with a darker background, you would need to darken the font a little. Like RGB(45, 45, 45)

he's right, although the format change was specifically what made me want to leave. . . the background was changed to the most glaring white i've ever seen, and for a while the text was also about this big-- made it almost impossible to read without major eyestrain. . . the thing that really pissed people off was that the reaction was immediate and overwhelmingly negative, but the admin of the site just blew everybody off. . . there weren't necessarily problems with members, although i did see the average member over there get increasingly childish over the time that i used that board, and there was a ridiculous, constant and stupid debate over the "rep" system. . . anyways, didn't mean to dig up old stuff-- the truth is we all just wanted to get away from lord trychon!![]()
