- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
"There's a box of Twinkies in that grocery store. Not just any box of Twinkies, the last box of Twinkies that anyone will enjoy in the whole universe. Believe it or not, Twinkies have an expiration date. Some day very soon, Life's little Twinkie gauge is gonna go... empty."
Coach, thanks for putting all that in one place for us draftniks.
The one guy I really hope slides to us is Trent Williams. Do you agree with the NFLN guys about his broad and vertical jumps equating to first step quickness and the ability to win the battle for leverage at the poa?
Do you think he's likely to be the fourth of the big four OTs to go?
That's right b!+ches, the Denver BRONCOS are Back!!!
havent spent too much time looking at him. mainly because I live in the heart of Big 12 country and see him every week. but I actually have him as the #4 Tackle. Behing Okung, Bulaga, and...Iupati (who i believe will be a better tackle than guard in the NFL). Anthiny Davis has his moments, but his effort and desire to improve are highly questioned. Bruce Campbell just confuses me. Somehoe he's listed as a top 3 or 4 tackle, but I cant figure out why. The coaches in the ACC didnt even vote him to the all-conference team. If you arent seen as one of teh better tackles in your conference...how are you one of the better ones in the country.
I like Williams, but I think he'll be a right tackle in the NFL.
