I heard Shefter do a radio interview the other day and he said that he guarantees STL takes Bradford with the #1 pick.

    Cody still has conditioning issues
There were a lot of concerns about Wilfork's conditioning when came out and he turned out ok. No I'm not saying one equals the other but I would still take Cody. From what I've seen of him he's pretty quick for a man his size.

Mitch Petrus: Center. Guy runs a 5.29 and puts up 45 bench Reps!!!! Personally Ive never seen anyone put up more that 38. We need a Center but Ive never seen this guy play. Anyone know anything about him?

he later claimed that he was "only joking" after the rams demied it. . . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Exactly. Who else do they have under center in 2010?

i wouldn't be shocked either-- they desperately need a QB, and i think he's going to be a damn good one. . .

i did think it was funny that schefter retracted his report, though. . . .

    Ahahah.. I do as well.

Not onl do I think he's going to be a very good player.. I think that its doesn't make sense to pay a DT 12 million up front when a player that has proved himself and is franchised, gets 7

    Seems something is wrong there.

Bruce Campbell went off like a dirty bomb at the combine today. He ran a 4.85 at 315 lbs and trew up 225 for 34 reps. Just for good measure he also had a 32" vert.

I'm not saying I want the Broncos to get him, but I'm hoping he did enough to guarantee that the Crypt Keeper takes him too early....

Petrus started at Arkansas as a fullback. He also spent one year ineligible. As it stands, he should go in the 3rd, give or take a round. He's a very good run blocker, but a little bit unpolished in the pass blocking department.

Trindon Holliday looks amazing also. The guy is tiny (5'5 i think) but ran a 4.3, can really get up in the air to go after the ball, and you would have thought the guys hands were covered in super glue. As soon as he touches the ball he puts it away. No bobbles. No double catches. No awkward adjusting the ball before he puts it away. I like this guy and with a system that adores the bubble screen we need guys that can put the ball away and fly in a straight line.

Probably a much better choice for that, than a slower lumbering BM.

Not saying that BM is bad at it but does not have the quick this kid does.

I've not watched the QB or WR stuff much.

Because I do not see it as a huge need.

But i did see Skelton go through his workouts, he threw it well has a cannon and is a BIG dude, who can run for a big guy, not like Tebow who intrigued me a bit also.

Would not mind taking a flyer on or BOTH of them later or as a UDFA. Yes I know tebow will not last past the 4th. But that is what I would like.

If anyone wants to get the stats from these players and post them, I'll look kindly on them the next time they screw the pooch.

It's no different than them beating him up because of the 'system' he was in.

If they had paid attention, they'd have known he wasn't in the no-huddle his entire college career. He threw 36td's in his freshman year, an NCAA record, under a regular offense, with only 8int's. He also completed nearly 70% of his passes and if not for being a RS, would have(SHOULD have) won the Heisman.

He is an athlete. He has great basketball skills, and can golf with the best of them. He's smart in class and on the field.

Whoever gets him, St louis *cough*, will have someone to build their team around.

Javid Best blew up the forty. Could he be the next Chris Johnson?
