- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
Besides the fact that the University of Michigan has been long known as one of the best NFL pro producing schools in the nation. . . eh, what was your point again?
Or at pin the tail on the draft prospect
I can see it now... Shanahan holds his hand over his eyes, spins a couple times then points and says, I'll take that guy... Someone from the back says,, But Mike, we don't need a QB, Shanahan removes the hand from his face.. Then looks around the room and says, Who said that? No one questions the masterminds scouting method!.. Ted stands up and says, it was me Mike.. Shanahan in his best Trump voice, points and says, "Ted Sundquist, YOUR FIRED!"

The only logical reason Denver didnt attend is because we are planning on trading up and taking Henne in the top 10. Its the only scenario that makes sense, since we did it before.
