Jake McGee hasn't been bad since moving from the closer role a couple of years ago. He's not a world beater but he's far from a major problem.

Gray pitched well tonight. He is such a tease, but if he can be more consistent, he is probably the key to a serious run.

At minimum, get another lefty in the pen. Rusin's hurt and McGee/Musgrave ain't gonna cut it. The Rockies would have really benefited from the deal that the dbacks did for Diekma today, for instance.

They should have gone after Zach Britton when they had the chance. A lefty in the pen is a no brainer for this team.
