Thread: The Official Colorado Rockies thread--Now with extra awesome!!

The Rox are 15th in the latest power rankings. Through 15 games, they're 10-5 and getting decent respect moving up 5 spots in the power rankings, I'll take that. It's been a pretty fun start to the season. Haven't lost a series yet. Chuck Nasty is heating up. Cron is tied for the league lead in HRs. Joe is doing seemingly everything right, that guy is great. Bryant has been very solid. Grichuck has been downright spectacular. Iglesias is fun to watch on Defense, the play yesterday at 3rd was awesome. Ry Mac is great on defense and his offense will come around. The pitching staff has been repectable with Kuhl and Gomber leading the way. Bullpen has been surprisingly good.

I'm very happy with the start, I know the bottom will fall out eventually but right now it's fun as Hell to watch.

Yeah I am waiting for the June Swoon but in the meantime its really fun to watch! And if they want to keep winning and keep me occupied until Training Camp starts and beyond, thats fine too!

glad we rebounded by beating a team we should after getting manhandled by Philly. Was there for the Rockies, Phillies day game and it was a shite performance and snooze fest for a Rockies fan that's for sure.....

Halfway through the season the Rockies are in last place with no hope

The Colorado Rockies reached the halfway point of their 2022 season on Tuesday, fittingly playing to a 5-2 loss in Los Angeles.

The Rockies are sitting firmly in fifth place, 16.5 games back of the Dodgers. At 35-46, the club finds itself 11 games under .500, their worst mark of the season. The Rockies were once five games above even but have played to a 19-35 record since.

There’s nothing particularly interesting about this year’s Rockies team. They aren’t even remarkably bad, still projected to finish 70-92. Even their run differential—almost -1 per game—is just fourth-worst in the NL. Again, not 100 losses bad.
