DENVER -- The Colorado Rockies may be without reliever Scott Oberg for the rest of the season after he developed blood clots in his right arm for the third time in his career.

Manager Bud Black said Oberg felt some discomfort in his throwing hand Saturday during a throwing session. He was evaluated by vascular doctors, who discovered the clots.

Oberg was already on the 10-day injured list with a strained back.

"For lack of a better word, it's a bummer," Black said. "It will be a while, if at all, for Scott this season."

They have the Diamond Backs who are 3-7 ranked above us.

We are still paying the price for the Shaw and Wade signings... The bullpen is going to be a problem all year.

Some of the new guys look good early. Kinley and Bard have been good. I really like Jairo Diaz. Estevez has amazing stuff, he's a guy that I have always believed in, he'll be a closer someday I truly believe that.

Its a bummer about O'Berg, he was so good last year.

Loving the pitching right now.....if we keep this up especially at home were in for a fun season....*Knocks on wood*......
