Now we're starting to see the pitching staff I expected.

Wheels fell off...hope one dude was smart enough to GPS-tag the lugnuts.
Couple of cool things today. Desmond making his Rockies debut and Bettis hanging with the fellas in the dugout. Bettis has been with the team all weekend which has been cool to see.
Go Rox!
Let's Rid3!!!!
Awesome pitcher's duel today. I love it.
Let's Rid3!!!!
Why is Lyles still on the roster?
Let's Rid3!!!!
I knew we'd lose as soon as I saw Jordan Lyles on the mound. He does not belong on a major league diamond. He is probably the worst pitcher in all of the majors.
Let's Rid3!!!!
Yes, Jordan was the pitcher who gave up the home run in the 13th inning. But what about the zero offense by the Rockies - example.
http://www.denverpost.com/2017/04/30...-rockies-13th/Colorado’s best opportunity to get to Corbin came in the fifth. It produced baserunners, but no runs on the scoreboard. The Rockies loaded the bases with no outs on a walk by Mark Reynolds, a single by Ian Desmond to left (his first hit as a Rockie) and a walk by Trevor Story. Corbin didn’t flinch: he got Dustin Garneau to pop out to second; coaxed Marquez to top the ball to third baseman Lamb, who forced Reynolds out at home; and induced a groundout to third by Blackmon.
Bases loaded, with no outs, and end result - zero runs. This was not the only time that the offense could have put the game away, but did not.

THIS ONES FOR JOHNWOULD YOU RATHER WIN UGLY, OR LOSE PRETTY?
The game could have been tied 25-25 and Lyles still would have lost this game. He is the weak link not just in the bullpen but on the entire squad. This is the first bad decision I've seen Bud make. We have a day off tomorrow and plenty of arms in the BP that should have been in the game before Lyles. Lyles is not a MLB caliber pitcher, not right now. He should be designated for assignment.
Let's Rid3!!!!
Why would we send Estevez down but keep Lyles on the roster? Dump Lyles, he is the worst pitcher in the majors.
Let's Rid3!!!!
