    Lemme help you out.

Like a gas station egg sandwich. Like, it's in theory edible, in the right circumstance even enjoyable, but more than likely you're just going to question your motives and shit a lot.

Too bad the Rockies weren't blacked out instead of the two competitive Denver teams.

Default Nolan Arenado writes emotional letter to Rockies fans

DENVER — On Saturday afternoon, the Colorado Rockies released via their Twitter account a emotional message from star third baseman Nolan Arenado.

Arenado, who avoids social media himself, admits that he misses baseball and is eager for the season -- which was supposed to begin this upcoming week. He also said that times like now amid the coronavirus pandemic are tough but will be able to get through.

"Be safe and let's be there for each other now."

    Below is Arenado's full letter:

We went to a Rockies vs. Angels interleague game during Trout's rookie season (2012 he played in some games in 2011 but 2012 was his first real season) he wasn't a household name yet, but we couldn't get him out. I remember thinking who the Hell is this dude that is just killing us.

I looked up his line from that game, baseball reference is awesome, he went 3/3 with 2 walks 2 RBIs and stole 2 bases. He was also stellar in the field and I remember being very impressed with how fast he was.

Default Rockies draft OF Veen with ninth pick

DENVER -- The Rockies selected Zac Veen, a left-handed-hitting outfielder from Spruce Creek High School (Port Orange, Fla.), with the ninth overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft on Wednesday,

Veen, 18, is listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, and he fits in with the Rockies’ best-player-available drafting philosophy.

Last year, the Rockies didn’t draft a high school player until the 31st round. But that was last year. This time, when the Rockies’ turn came, the selection screamed Veen -- the No. 7 Draft prospect, according to MLB Pipeline. He was the highest-ranked prep player on that list, although the Padres took Robert Hassell III of Independence High School in Thompsons Station, Tenn. -- another left-handed-hitting outfielder -- with the eighth pick.
