The Rocks need to find a way to win some series. Period. I know it's still early, but they gotta make a move, ASAP, or be in deep, deep trouble come July/August.
Well Francis got hit around, Rockies had their chances against Randy hit some balls hard but did not do enough after the D-Backs put up 6 in 2 innings. 8-4 final.
De La Rosa vs Owings tonight.
Righty heavy line-up last night, Lefty tonight, Scott, Helton, Hawpe will all be back in the line-up along with Omar at 2nd is my guess.
Well Francis has left with the lead in 3 games which the pen then has blown but it just seems that his location is not as crisp as last year and he is not fooling anyone with his stuff. See how it pans out, starting to get close to that panic point because the Rockies really need Francis to put together quality starts behind Cook, just keep the games close. Problem all year is that the Rockies go into the bottom of the first or second inning down 2-3 runs at the other team is always able to add on to that and you can not make great comebacks every game.
The Rockies, Dodgers, Giants and Padres all look like crap now.
the only team playing well is Arizona and if they keep it up they will run away with it.
Wow. They're just tough to watch right now.
Tonight should be fun, though. Webb us 8-0. Yet Cook's ERA is better (and at 6-1, he's no slouch).
Tonight starts a 10-game winning streak!![]()
Not hitting with RISP, have players on 2nd and 3rd, 1 out and you can not push one across. Everybody is saying that this offense will wake up but.....May 15 Tulowitzki has begun strengthening exercises on his torn left quadriceps and isn't feeling any pain, the Denver Post reports.
In a best-case scenario, he will return in mid-June. Most estimates project mid-July. Tulo is still very early in his rehab.
The first 3-4 weeks of the season I would just tell myself that they are pressing too hard and it would all iron itself out.
Well it hasn't happened yet
