A few of those walks were actually strikeouts and a few of our strikeouts were actually walks. It was the most poorly umped game I've seen this season. It's okay. The Rox need to take care of business but that does not erase the fact that the umps were atrocious last night. The balk call, the safe at first with undeniable visual evidence to the contrary and the ridiculous strike zone were inexcusable.

Kyle Freeland is a badass.

This has been the worst ump crew I have seen all season. Yesterday we benefitted, slightly. The day before LA benefitted tremendously. This guy behind the plate has already cost us a strike out. It's making Drew Goodman consider automated strike zones and he has been vehemently opposed to them forever.

I'm wondering if this ump crew has invented a machine to do it and their just trying to push MLB over the edge. They'll make millions.

In all seriousness this series has been horribly umpired.

Today's loss was squarely on the pitching staff, but that doesn't erase the awful umpiring we saw this weekend.
