Was there a reason why Black replaced Tony with Chris in the 8th inning? Also, does not help when this happens: At least once, bases were loaded, and did not score. May have been twice.

Chris hits lefties better and is better defensively.

Isn't Tony hitting like a buck fiddy?

I actually feel bad for Will Meyers. Hes not a 3rd baseman. Hes a good young player.

He's been a Rockies killer over the years - I still don't understand why they prioritized Hosmer of all people in the offseason.

Yeah I didn't get it either. I also think its obviously hurt Meyers development. He was well on his way to being an all-star-ish level first baseman.

Or when Nolan sat and watched two fastballs for strikes go right by him on his way to 0 for 5. Or when Blackmon grounded out to 2nd for the 45th ******* time. Shaw is a dumpster fire but it's hard to pin that one on the bullpen.

#Rockies suffer brutal loss. That it involved Bryan Shaw surprises no one. But this one is on offense. The bats have been napping for better part of a month. Can't keep asking pen to determine outcome every night. #Denver7
