That slider he struck the second guy out with was not fair. Nobody could hit me that thing.
I'm very optimistic about my Rockies right now, but I always am in April. Regardless, I'll watch or listen to all or part of over 100 games this season just like I did last season. During baseball season if my tv is on it is on the Rockies about 90% of the time.
Let's Rid3!!!!
There is a lot to be excited about - Dickerson is raking as an everyday OF, Lemahieu is hitting to complement his gold glove defense, the bullpen isn't a total dumpster fire, Hundley is a much better defensive catcher than Rosario was, Tulo and CarGo are healthy...
The issue, as always, is that I don't think we have the starting pitching depth to hold up over the long haul. Bergman battled last night, but we won't win many games if he can't give us more than 4 innings. Guys are still walking too many batters. Sustainable success starts with pitching, and I'm still skeptical.

rest - http://www.denverpost.com/rockies/ci...-ready-if-teamSAN FRANCISCO — There was plenty of drama at AT&T Park Tuesday night, what with Nolan Arenado's catch for the ages and another Rockies road victory.
But some of the drama ended when manager Walt Weiss informed right-hander Adam Ottavino that he is the Rockies' new closer.
Ottavino responded by shutting the door on the Giants in the ninth inning of Colorado's 4-1 victory, notching the second save of his career. He got his first save on July 30, 2014 at Chicago vs. the Cubs.
Also, I feel much better with Hundley behind the plate, regardless who is pitching. He has done a great job so far in managing the pitchers, and I feel it will only get better, the more familiar he is with them.

definitely have an underrated batting lineup.
Matzek started out a little rough tonight, had a hard time finding the strike zone in the first two innings but has since settled down and is pitching well now. He's retired nine straight.

Hey Ump, he's Klayton Kershaw he doesn't need your help.
Let's Rid3!!!!
Rosario needs to go to an AL team, he has virtually no defensive skills whatsoever.
