So a catcher is about to pitch for the Cubs and the Rockies-Cubs game is officially the longest game ever played at Wrigley.

So, they got that going for them.

Of course they lost. Of course. Welp, that's two hours of my life I'm not getting back.

Read today that they arent going to trade Hawkins. WHY?!?!?! You're going to extend a 41 year old closer with bad K and BB rates, that could bring back something of value in return...WHY?!?!?!

I can certainly relate to the issues they have with ownership, but the front office is pretty pathetic, too. If you cant compete with the roster you have...why keep it?

They literally have no idea what they're doing. No clue. The front office is a direct extension of ownership. They are yes men with no experience.

Sad situation. Having experienced it in Baltimore, all I can say is hang in there. It cant suck forever...just 15 years or so.

Been 31 since our last WS appearance. Was 15 since our last playoff appearance until we went in 2012.

Worst thing to happen to this franchise was getting to the WS in '07.
