Hey San Francisco Giants, defense is also part of the game jackasses.

Between their bitching,whining, pissing and moaning, long haired girly pitcher, and the fact that Barry Bonds played there, they should be kicked out of Major League Baseball.

When Juan Nicasio trotted out to the mound at Coors Field Sunday afternoon, there was a lot of weight on his broad shoulders.

Not only was Nicasio the key to the Rockies' chance to win a rare series from the Giants, he also was pitching to secure his fragile spot in the starting rotation.

Nicasio responded in splendid fashion, pitching one of the best games of his career. The 26-year-old right-hander threw six scoreless innings, allowing just three hits as the Rockies beat the defending World Series champions 5-0 in front of 47,494 fans. After blowing a six-run lead in a demoralizing 8-6 loss on Thursday, the Rockies rebounded to take three straight from the Giants and win the four-game series.

Garland is horrible.

Yes. He should be sent down when Francis is sent to AAA and Pomerantz called up.

Id take Francis over Garland....but that's not saying a lot. Pom could be something if he didn't have the confidence of a broken hearted school girl.

Well so far this year, Drew is 6-0 in the springs with a 3.22 ERA and a K/9 of over 10.

Garland can't make up for the offense being shut down.

If everything works out the way the Rockies are hoping the rotation ought to be Chacin, DLR, Chatwood, Pomeranz, Oswalt. Let Nicasio come out of the pen and let Garland and Francis go bag groceries.

Supposedly Pomeranz is looking a lot better this year... This team will be better if they get any contributions out of him or Oswalt.
