I hate the way Fowler catches fly balls at his chest. Anybody else notice this? WTH is that? Other than that though, I really like him. He's a good dude too, and he seems to want to be in Colorado.

Let's Rid3!!!!
There are 29 other teams out there that will take him off your hands if need be
No. The problem with Fowler is he is only under team control for two more years and no GM is going to give up meaningful compensation for a rental. Teams know that Fowler has value, but without any long term guarantee they just arent going to offer any top prospects. Sign him to a 5 year extension at a decent market value and the phone will ring off the hook if you want to move him. But you'll have to market him as a left fielder.
They keep wanting MLB ready players AND prospects for him. Not going to happen
rest - more than just on Helton - http://www.denverpost.com/rockies/ci...tes-productiveSCOTTSDALE, ariz. — New Rockies manager Walt Weiss has Todd Helton's back.
It has been a week since Helton was arrested near his home in Thornton and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.
Tuesday, as Rockies pitchers and catchers began their first official workouts of spring training, Weiss was asked if Helton's arrest will be a distraction.

rest, and more than just on Anderson - http://blogs.denverpost.com/rockies/...owitzki/13343/SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Looking through my spring training notebook, I came across a few tidbits from the first few days of camp:
* Pitching prospect Tyler Anderson, a Las Vegas native who played at the University of Oregon, has earned the endorsement of Troy Tulowitkzi.
“He’s a great kid, one of the best I have worked with,” Tulo said. “I don’t know a lot about his pitching, because I haven’t seen him. But his attitude and work ethic were great. He really impressed me.”

Oh Spring Training how I love thee.“He’s a great kid, one of the best I have worked with,” Tulo said. “I don’t know a lot about his pitching, because I haven’t seen him. But his attitude and work ethic were great. He really impressed me.”
There is this:
That's an interesting delivery.
Get jacked Rockies fans!
Reid Brignac is coming to town...
Traded from the Rays for PTBNL.
Edwar Cabrera on 60-day DL with left shoulder impingement.
/season
Not trying to be facetious here...
But is Brignac literally the biggest move of the offseason for the Rockies?
rest - http://www.denverpost.com/rockies/ci...ams-groundballSCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — In 2012, the Rockies entered spring training intent on establishing what they called "a new clubhouse culture." A year later, with new manager Walt Weiss, the theme is not nearly as touchy-feely.
Indeed, as pitchers go through their first bullpen sessions, the catchphrase in camp is "groundball outs."
Hence the importance of right-handed, late-game reliever Wilton Lopez. He was acquired from the Houston Astros during the winter meetings for starting pitcher Alex White and right-handed prospect Alex Gillingham.
