Kouzmanoff, a product of Evergreen High School, has been outrighted and has elected for free agency.
Right handed pitchers Matt Daley, Jim Miller, Greg Reynolds and Cory Riordan, and catcher Jose Morales also were outrighted off the 40-man roster, and they currently remain in the Rockies organization at the minor league level. However, both Daly and Morales will become minor-league free agents after the World Series, general manager Dan O'Dowd said today. O'Dowd said he has interest in bringing both of them back if deals can be worked out.
