I went to bed after the first innings. Damned work.

I woke up about 3am, and saw we were down 6-5. I went back to bed a little sad, but so proud of what they had accomplished.

I wake up this morning, go straight to mlb.com for the wrap, and find out we won! Seriously, I freaked my dogs out by leaping around cheering. Yep, had a wee cry!

I've snuck peeks at the highlights when possible today, but I'm gonna watch the game again tonight.

Kap - better bring those dogs a treat when you come home

The Rockies have been totally unbelievable down the stretch. And I feel they are definitely "The Team Of Destiny"

THe World Series isn't always won by the team with the best record....its sometimes won by the hottest team at the right time of year. Remember St. Louis from last year? WC team that was playing great baseball at the end of the year.

It could happen. One game at a time though.

They're a damned sight further on than any of the experts said they'd be (except Snapp and Smithy!).

I know I didn't have them pegged to go to the playoffs this year. I just about watched or followed every game though and was thinking they could do something this year with all the great young talent they have.

THey sure did blow away just going .500 like alot thought they would at best. 90 game winner is impressive.

THey might be stronger according to pay roll and "famous names" but as history has proven...you can't always "buy" yourself a WS ring.

ITs going to be a good post season for sure. Its nice to have something to cheer about here in Denver when the Broncos are in a rebuilding year. Talk shows, news papers, the local news is all about the Rockies. Its probably fitting right now.

I guess when your team wins it doesn't matter whether he touched the plate or not....

Congrats to all the fans, hope they go far for you.

The SD coach said he felt Holliday touched the plate, and I feel he did get his fingers on the plate. I also feel that we had a homerun taken away. Also, if Holliday would have been called out, we had a runner on 3rd with 2 outs. The worst that could have happened is that it would have went into the 14th inning.

Well if he didn't touch it, it made up for the Home Run...errrr. . Double that hit the wheel chair in the left field stands. One run for one run.

Your right. We would have had 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs and the way we were hitting Mr. Closer, its no doubt we would have got a base hit.

I still can't believe we are in the playoffs. I can not wait for 13 1/2 hours from now. Its been a long time coming and we have been told as a fan base to wait until 2007.

Well 2007 is here and we have made the most of it.

He smacked his face really well too! But then again, I guess you don't practice head first slides all that often.

The winning run never touched the plate from what I saw, yet the Rockies got robbed of a homerun so it all evens out. They are going to give the Phillies some trouble and are heading into the playoffs on one incredible ride.
