Done deal. Just scored 2 seats, section 117 (outfield box, home team side)...normally $38 a pop. 2 tickets for $25.50 total (with all surcharges) on a Saturday night game no less. Nice. Plus some trees get planted in Denver with home runs. Go us.
Say what you want about Rockies ownership, because they suck with player decisions, but damn the ticket prices have always been great.
The beauty about this run is they Rocks are doing it against pretty damn good teams. Road sweeps against damn good Card and Brewer teams. 2-3 against the Rays, swept the Bucs (sure, they aren't so good, but still, sweep), and now clobbering the Angels on the road.
8-1 on the last 9 game home stand. Best in franchise history (seriously).
And to think after this long road trip the Rocks will have played more road games than 90% of the entire league.
September is a long time from now, but the Rockies have 19 home games, and 9 away games the last month. Just saying.....
