Poor Rockies! What's up with you guys this year, just haven't gotten in a groove yet?
Rough starts by Atkins/Cook, pen is a mess, when one things going another is not. Team is a a rut which sucks because I was so hoping that they could at least turn into a compettive team somehow after the series run, but I guess that was all just a dream...
Gonzales better be rounding the bases with Fowler in the next couple of years.
Only good thing is to see Helton play!
Man, this team is really bad.
WOW...What a comeback so far...Down 7-0 in the fourth, and now its 7-6...
Good luck Rocks, you guys deserve this one.
15-6 now....Sorry guys, I was secretly rooting for the Rocks there.
GO BLUE!
I've never seen that before... The Rockies catcher (Paul Phillips?) actually just ducked out of the way of a ball. He was expecting a breaking ball, Jimenez threw a 96 mph fastball, and he actually moved out of the way and the umpire got drilled in the arm. What kind of a catcher ducks out of the way of the ball? We need Ianetta to get healthy.
Also-Jeff Huston, the Rockies color analyst, is terrible at his job. He's just painful to listen to. He's always stuttering, or repeating what Drew Goodman just said. He's easily the worst announcer in Denver for any of the pro or college teams.
Got crossed up...I've seen it...
In a way its a natural reaction, not like a ball in the dirt where you see the bounce and try for it. When you are expecting a nice 75 mph breaking ball and get the high heater, bit of a heart stopper I would guess.
Producing Triple-A baseball games has killed my Rockies viewing.
I am so glad this turned out well for Torrealba and his family.

HOUSTON — Rockies catcher Yorvit Torrealba's nightmare is apparently over, his son safe and tension eased as he makes plans to fly his family to the United States after a kidnapping was resolved safely.
His 11-year-old son, Yorvit Eduardo, and two of the 11-year-old's uncles, were kidnapped Tuesday morning in the Venezuelan city of Guarenas. The three were rescued Wednesday night in Araira, according to the Caracas newspaper De todo en diversiones.
Torrealba's son, and his uncles, identified as Daniel Antonio Alvarez, 31, and Agrey Alexander Marquez, 27, were kidnapped, and their captors were identified in a lineup.
A source who has been in constant communication with Torrealba though this ordeal told The Denver Post today that the 11-year-old and uncles were intercepted as they drove the boy to school.
Torrealba flew from Houston, where he was with the Rockies, to Venezuela immediately as the kidnappers demanded a $1 million ransom. He was told to keep his presence in the country private, with authorities fearful that the kidnappers would demand more money and delay the return of the captives.
A dropoff location was established but Yorvit Eduardo and the brother-in-law were able to reach a safe house and telephone authorities before the ransom was paid, according to the source.
"Our organization is relieved that the situation was resolved with the safe return of Yorvit's family members and we will continue to support Yorvit and his family through what has been an extremely emotional situation. Yorvit knows that he can take the time he needs and will rejoin the Club when the time is right," said Rockies president Keli McGregor.
Torrealba plans to bring his family to the United States tomorrow and spend a few days with them before considering returning to the Rockies next week in Milwaukee.
According to the newspaper, the rescue combined the services of the Anti-extortion and Kidnapping Unit of Venezuela's Investigative Police, as well as the police in Guarenas and Higuerote.
Investigative police director Wilmer Flores told the newspaper that the kidnappers were feeling pressured by the police actions. They abandoned the child and his uncles on Araira's main highway, and ran away.
The Rockies were aware of Torrealba's situation, but under directions from the police and Major League Baseball's security department, they were instructed not to say anything publicly.
Manager Jim Tracy would only say that Torrealba had left the team for "personal matters." There is no word yet on when Torrealba might rejoin the team.
High-profile Venezuelan athletes have been targets in the past. In 2005, police rescued the kidnapped mother of Detroit Tigers reliever Ugueth Urbina after a gun battle with her abductors at a hideout in the southeast of the country.
According to the New York Times, gunmen broke into the Urbina family home on the outskirts of Caracas on Sept. 1, stole $520 and abducted Urbina's mother.
Edwin Bellorin was called up from Triple-A Colorado Springs to take Torrealba's spot on the 25-man roster. Because of the nature of Torrealba's situation, the Rockies do not have to make a corresponding roster move.
