    Default Good draft site from..............

Our old boy Requim, Cicero, Dream, and any other name he had/has. He asked me to post his draft stuff here since he is no longer allowed.

So go to his site to get some good draft talk going. He is one of the really good draft gurus we have...had.

    broncosdraft.wordpress.com

    ** LOL**

I probably didnt post it right. He would have been better served to get someone who knows how to use a computer correctly. Sorry chris.

His Mock though is pretty dam good. I like it a lot.

He has us taking (with no trades until they occur)

    Dan Williams
    Demarius Thomas
    Alex Carrington

with our first 3 picks. I cant remember after that. But I would be thrilled with those 3 as our first picks!

    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

That's a pretty good Draft. I would love to see it personally. I have'nt seen a bad mock yet on this board but by going with just the picks we have (no trades), that's superb.

yep. he is real good and has some good contacts close to situations. He even interviewed marques douglas last offseason. Remember that? That was pretty sick. Its a bummer he got kicked out, but keep checking his site and we can do some good draft talk there.

I will post stuff here as he passes it along. True or false or rumors- Its good to get lots of ideas and opinions.

Why did he get kicked out?
Draft is just OK. Taking Thomas in the 2nd is a HUGE reach.
The guy couldnt run a pro, NFL route to save his life.
Hes a end of the 3rd, compensatory pick, top of the 4th round pick at best right now.
We'll see him at the combine for more info.

Ive seen much better mocks here.

Sometimes people put too much stock in one person/site. i.e. Mayock, Dresm/Cicero, etc.

You know as well as I do that it's all guesswork. Some guess right from time to time...others are rarely right. We could draw names out of a hat and have a similar success rate as the "pros" do.

NO idea why he got the boot here.

I dont think thomas is a big reach in the 2nd. Obviously, the combine isnt here yet, but I had him early second late first. IMO he is a marshall clone through and through, maybe a little faster though. But yes, once the combine arrives things change much. Who knows he could drop to the 4/5th or rise to mid first...doubtful.

I did not declare it was the best mock ever. Just that it was a good one and a good place to see what he is thinking since he cant post here anymore.......Man now that the superbowl is over I cant freaking wait until the combine.
I hate this lull in between the two. I swear the draft talk is the only thing that keeps me going.

Hes a Marshall clone in physical make up only.
He cant run routes to save his life.
He has extremely limited playing time in a system that resembles anything
close to what a NFL team operates with.
He just is a very, very raw player in alot of aspects.
Hes a 2 year project. I like him though.
If DEN had a extra 3rd round pick to throw at a player, he would be one i would love to see them take!

But do you really think he will last til the 3rd round. (now, i mean, before the combine and all)?

Also do you think currently now, in his raw form, that he is a better prospect or more polished than Tedd Ginn Jr, who went #9 overall to dolphins. (even though we all know that was a major major reach.)

WR's to avoid...Demarius Thomas, Mike Williams, Denario Alexander, Mardy Gilyard and Eric Decker

If we have to draft a receiver...give me Taylor Price in round 3

Damian Williams is probably the most 'polished' route runner in this Draft class. He and Decker IMO. After that the pickings are plenty slim in that department but that's something that's very coachable.

Bryant, LaFell, and Tate are'nt considered strong route runners either. Though LaFell did improve alot in 09'.

If only Decker could play a full season without an injury to his lower extremeties. Hasnt done it since high school, IIRC
