    Angry Ads

If another E-harmony add starts playing on my speakers again while I am on this site, I will not post here any more.

Are you blocking pop-ups? I've never had an ad just start playing.

    I have popups blocked, so I don't hear anything, but I don't blame you . . .

E-Harmony got sued because they targeted their business only at heteros so they settled out of court and started a new dating site for gays. I think it's called e-Horny.com
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Never happened to me before on this site, but before I had ad blockers I'd get shit like that all over the net. Sometimes extremely weird noises and foreign songs would just blast out of my speakers and sub.

It happened twice this morning. I was just scrolling through a thread, clicked on the next page, and an E-Harmony ad started playing on its own. I closed out the window, opened it up, came back to this website and the same damn thing happened again.

I don't have a problem with ads at all...but it annoys the shit out of me when they just start playing all on their own.

I keep my speakers muted almost all the time, unless I am actually playing something, because it irritates me when I go to sites that start blaring music or commercials (like NFL scoreboard during commercial breaks, or Sportsline in between innings for MLB).

This is the first I have heard of this, but I will see if I can block E-harmony.

Trust me, I don't like seeing the ads or dealing with the administration of the ads, but I don't have much choice.

Please let me know (PM or Town Hall thread) any time there is a problem and I will do my best to address it.

Ok, on google I have listed eharmony in the list of domains to block. On the other ad company, I have told it not to display any dating ads.

Hopefully, that takes care of it.

I don't because I listen to music when I'm on the computer.
