    Lost Zaeed, Miranda, and Mordin.
I had a feeling Mordin would be huge in helping the Krogans in part 3 so I allowed him to follow Dr Chikwa (whatever her name was) back to the Normandy so I know he'd survive. And Legion would help the Geth later on too.

Can't wait for ME3. Best RPG series of the decade. Easily.

Zaeed, I knew would die... because I saved the workers... I'll go renegade next time around, and won't be worried about that...

Miranda, I pissed off for siding with Jack (took too long to do that sidemission, I guess?)

Mordin I lost as the tech specialist... Dunno if I could have done more to save him? He was very loyal...

You can still get Zaeeds loyalty if you save the workers, you just need high paragon. With high paragon/ renegade to keep your crew in line you should be able to keep everyone alive ( along with all ship armor/weapon upgrades). I haven't lost anyone on either playthrough. For example when Jack and Miranda fight, you lose one of them to anger and lose loyalty, but high paragon will snap them back to shape.

I couldnt get Miranda back. And my Paragon was high. Not high enough I guess. The extra convo options never appeared. It's a shame, she had a nice ass in the game.

I heard an explanation from someone who played through with a nearly maxed paragon and renegade and couldn't save the situation... then they tried again, and when they did Jack's mission as soon as they got it, the options were open. So it seems as though how quick you do the loyalty missions may play a part.

    Yes I hated it!

What I did was I'd mine the upper half and lower half of each planet at a time. I thought it made it faster.

Once you get up into the hundreds of thousands of minerals though, youre good.

Hmmmmm.. I guess I didn't do the missions fast enough. I lose the loyalty of jack every time I take Miranda's side.

The second time I played through, the only person I don't get loyalty from is Jack. But after you finish the last mission, if you go down and talk with her, she tells you there is no hard feelings.

During the last mission, I only lose the person I send through the airduct. So I always send the Geth. I wanted to send Zaeed... he sucked and I didn't care if he died. But didn't give me the option to send him.

I send Morbin back to escort the doc back to Normandy. I always use Garrus as the leader to the second group, and as the leader to the distraction team. I team up with Miranda and Jacob.... and use Samara as the one to provide the bubble. I don't lose anyone from the team except the Geth. I should put Than through the airduct, since he's dying anyway

Legion seems as though he could be important to the sequel, potentially...

But you didn't get loyalty from Jack and she survived? Interesting.

yeah.. both times. I guess cause I picked Miranda in the argument? I don't know. One time I let her shoot the guy that was at the facility, the next time I didn't. Both had the same results.. no loyalty.

I 'guess' Legion will come in handy, but I also feel that there will be another way around that. I might play again, and send Thane through the duct.

Both times I have played and beat the game I was able to woo back Jack's loyalty after the fight (even if your paragon is not high enough, you can see the option once it is.)

My best advice is to buy the Death Mask on Grunts homeworld it gives a big bonus to Paragon/Renegade conversations and can build it up quick. My paragon was nearly maxed out both times, not sure if when you do the missions affects the outcome...

As far as the suicide mission, always send Tali or another tech expert into the tunnel and you should be fine. The only guaranteed survivor seems to be whoever you send on the escort mission back to the Normandy.

why? I want to keep tali... in fact she and I ended up sleeping together in a 'after suicide mission' scene (I don't know why I always had a soft spot for Tali). DIdn't want her to die. Other than that person (the person that goes through the duct), I always have everyone survive.

I got the Death mask, and had it for the entire game on the second time through, and I never got my paragon/renegade conversations built up that fast. I think because I don't spend enough time going through the long conversations with the teammates the second time through. :shrugs: Oh well.

Tali and Legion are the best to send through the ducts, as long as you can move them along quickly they should never die and can break through the doors the quickest. I never intended that you should send her in to die, just that she is the best for the job other than Legion.

Another trick to get your Paragon/Renegade up is to use the reallocate points feature on the normandy and select the option that maxes those attributes out. I know they have one for the Sentinal class, I'm sure the others have some sort of bonus too.

Just finished my first play through over the weekend. Made it through without anyone dying. I sent Legion into the tunnel and had Jack as my biotic specialist to keep the seekers away. I also sent Grunt back to the Normandy with the crew. Oh yeah, and I had Miranda lead the other squad both times. I was all worried about someone dying, but it turned out to be pretty easy to keep everyone alive. Not sure if I just got lucky and happened to do everything "right" or what.

Great game though. Look forward to playing through it again utilizing biotic powers more. Maybe as a vanguard...not sure yet.

And one more thing...I think I made the wrong choice at the end of the game...you know the final big decision you make. After I finished the suicide mission and got back to the Normandy all my squad members told me how stupid of a choice I had just made. Made me feel like a total douche even though I had just saved the galaxy yet again!
