THIS ONES FOR JOHNWOULD YOU RATHER WIN UGLY, OR LOSE PRETTY?
God help us when the police gains control. This is just an example.
I would ordinarily think that there must be more to it that what we see on the
video, but Chargers fans all around the guy were holding up for him.
You know, my mother taught me that the police was there for my protection.
I've steadily learned that I may need more protection from the police . . .

No wonder their fans ban other fans from their boards if their police arrest fans from other teams!!!
The cops "appear" to be in the wrong. That said, the guy probably should have just gone with them instead of resisting. Resisting arrest = no win situation.
The good part is that the Chargers fans at least appeared to be sympathetic and willing to stand in his defense.
**** the police.

Very unconstitutional and out of line. I smell a lawsuit out of this incident.
I know this stuff happens everywhere and I know I don't live in San Diego, but to be honest, I feel ashamed to be from California after watching this
pathetic excuse for cops....getting paid to "keep the peace" and instead instigating a brawl that could have turned very ugly in some cases.
the last officer asking the other fan to "step outside" only proves these badge toting adrenaline junkies should be fired.
it takes a certain type of person to be an effective police officer, these guys showed no signs of possessing the needed qualities.
maybe they had money on the game and were just getting cranky !
id like to see how they b.s. their way out of several civil rights violations and
excessive force uses.
i dont have a problem with cops, just punks with badges....i would say this group falls into the latter catagory !
stupid ******* pigs. hope they lose their jobs over this shit.
that guy did nothing wrong at all.
The fan was irritating but didn't appear to deserve being arrested judging by the reaction of the fans near him. I bet we hear more on this...................
Yep, definitely doesnt help your case when you resist arrest. Sucks that it happened to him but he only gave them further cause by not co-operating. With that said, if he got arrested for just saying JETS there needs to be some suspensions and fines for those cops. Its kind of weird though because the video jumps from him saying Jets to the cops struggling to put the cuffs on him. Its the only time in the video where its skips like that so i wonder if there was something else going on that isnt included. Very odd. I do think very highly of the Charger faithful standing up for the guy. The guy in back even looked like he was going to testify on their behalf.
Sounds like a mis-communication. You hear the Charger fan that is defending him say, "He didn't throw anything..someone threw something at him!" during the scuffle.
Bottom line, the police should have asked the guy to leave without force, and the guy shouldn't have resisted. Once inside the concourse of the stadium they could have sorted everything out. The cops jumped the gun, and the Jets fan was overly defensive/drunk. Could have been handled a lot better.
Because we all know what happened in between the clip where he was chanting JETS and the time the police showed up, right?
