So much for "The Hottest Team in Football"
long live nate kaeding!
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
*** the Chargers they ****ing suck balls.

All smack aside, why do you think the Chargers have such a hard time putting it all together in the postseason?
I still remember when Marlon McCree fumbled that INT that he should have just let hit the ground (Tom Brady and Belichick went for it on fourth down) when you guys were up by a touchdown.
You have an elite QB, good receivers, a stud TE, a strong defense and veteran players.
Do you think it's coaching? I never bought into Marty Schottenhimer being a bad coach, but Norv isn't really a worldbeater.
I mean you had bad luck. No one would have thought that Kaeding would miss one FG, let alone three. No one would have guessed that Revis would come up with a lucky INT (he's the best CB, but that INT was more luck than skill, just watch the way it bounced) like THAT, and I didn't think that they'd stonewall your offense that badly.
That's rough man.
The defense actually played probably their best game of the season. From what I saw, I think the offensive game plan was very, very poor and there was little adaptation to what they were giving us. Add to that some truly fluky bad plays against us and well, that's the way it goes.
The thing that is both great, and brutal, about the NFL is that in any game, one or two lucky plays can turn the tide decisively in one teams favor regardless of relative talent and skill.
Norv got outcoached, but overall, this season probably made me a believer in him. We just can't seem to get over that damn hump.
I was pulling for you guys to rep the west. But after I saw phillips talking his usual BS to sanchez a rook QB. I wanted you guys to lose.
I really really hate phillips.
Glad to see hiim lose yet again, even after all that crap he spews.
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
Chargers give Turner extensionComment Email Print Share Associated Press
SAN DIEGO -- Like it or not, Chargers fans, coach Norv Turner will be sticking around for four more years.
The Chargers announced Monday night that the oft-maligned coach is getting a three-year contract extension through 2013.
The extension came just more than 24 hours after the Chargers were shocked 17-14 by the New York Jets in the divisional playoffs, renewing calls by some fans for Turner to be fired.

The team had been expected to extend Turner's contract in the offseason so he wouldn't be a lame duck next fall. That offseason came a lot sooner than most people expected. Some had picked the Chargers to win the Super Bowl, but they melted down in a hail of mistakes and penalties against the Jets.
