Darn, Corey Williams to Cleveland......I was hoping Denver would have made a play for him to play along side Marcus. Oh well back to the drawing board.![]()

Buffalo is gonna be a good team next year, IMO especially if they get Stroud.
How's your burger, bro? - Ancient proverb
Yep...very nice LB corps which will please the fans.
However that does leave Larry Tripplett exposed to be plucked by a certain team in need of DT help.
he's dick butkus' cousin. . . .
they don't need him. . . james harrison looked like a monster last year on the other side, and lamarr woodley was coming on strong late in the season-- plus they spent a 1st round pick on lawrence timmons to play OLB. . . . with those guys, they have plenty of depth-- no need to pay big dollars for a 31 year old vet who only had 4 sacks at a position that primarily rushes the passer in their scheme. . . besides, the stealers have a long history of producing quality 'backers-- lebeau and his staff have been running that blitzburgh system forever, they just crank those guys out one after another. . . it's just like what we do with RBs, and it's no more an accident that LBs who leave there often don't have as much success elsewhere than it is when the same thing happens with our RBs. . . .
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
Well, not seeing Robertson on someone elses roster makes me feel good.
Denver definitely wants him, and no other significant moves by the team could mean theyre busy trying to swing a deal for the man.
Im gonna go ahead and hang a disco ball above my hammock if we can get Robertson on our roster, cause Im gonna be bustin out some old Travolta moves if it happens. I'll invite my elderly neighbors over, just so I can take over and 'rule the floor'.................

IN PATON I TRUST.
I believe Jake Scott would be a nice fit for Denver if the price is right. With each passing day, Scott $ asking price gets lower.
What I like about Scott, is the fact he was good enough to play on a solid O-Line and played key roles in protecting Manning and opening up running lanes for Adai. I'm surprised no team made him an offer this past weekend.
Also, Scott played for an organization that knows how to Develop and draft the necessary talent to protect Manning over the last 8 years!!! And thats same something. Indy has done all the risk andwork for Denver when it came drafting and developing Scott into one of the best OG in the NFL. The Broncos need proven veteran O-line help and depth. Question is, does Denver have better OG's than what Jake Scott brings to the table??
Jake Scott, UFA, Indianapolis Colts
Scott is the starting right guard for one of the top offensive line units in the entire NFL, and his ability to help protect Peyton Manning should equate to a nice contract number. Indianapolis has found a way to retain most of their line talent in recent seasons, and it should come as no surprise if Scott is locked into a long-term deal in the near future. But with big dollars being paid out to Ryan Lilja, Scott might not fit into the budget plans.
Michael Turner signs with the Atlantia Falcons.

i would be a little wary of scott. . . he has certainly played well in indy, but IMO he may be as much a product of their system as anything else. . . howard mudd does a great job of finding and developing O-line talent, but their offensive system sure makes it wasy for guys to succeed there. . . manning is probably the easiest QB in the league to protect because of his uncanny ability to make correct pre-snap reads and identify blitzes-- couple that with his fantastic quick release, and the reluctance of teams to blitz him, and it makes pass pro pretty easy compared to most other teams. . . also, having the consumate pro jeff saturday making the line calls is a real asset as well. . . and run blocking is almost easier, as they rarely line up and call power runs-- a ton of their runs are draws and delays, often from the shotgun, and they rarely ever run against an 8-man front. . . naturally none of this means that he can't or won't be successful elsewhere, but i wouldn't expect him to come in and play at the same level he did in indy. . .

That's a fair comment Dogfish.
However I look at some of the games when the Colts have had a depleted offensive line this season and I look at how well Jake Scott stepped up. Remember the Colts V Chargers game when the Colts were playing a G at LT, a C at RG and a RG at RT. Jake Scott was the guy who started off at RG and then switched to RT in the middle of the game because of injury. Peyton Manning wasn't playing well eiter, he had 6 INTs. The point is even in tough games Jake Scott (and Jeff Saturday) anchored that offensive line and kept it in shape. The Colts offensive line was damaged with injuries all year and Jake Scott still proved to be sturdy and reliable.
I like Jake Scott and I think he would be a good pickup for this team. I wouldn't call him Pro-Bowl material or anything, but he's a good RG. Definitely an improvement over Montrae Holland in my opinion.
Any site posting who is visiting which teams?
